Interested in sport science? We urge you to enroll early in PE 131: Introduction to
Health and Physical Education. This course provides information about career options
in health and fitness-related fields. It also provides guidance on how best to prepare
for these careers.
When it comes to choosing a degree path, it’s important to know whether you plan to
transfer to Oregon State University or to another four-year university.
- For those planning a transfer to OSU to earn a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or
Pre-Therapy, LBCC offers an Associate of Science degree. Because there are multiple
career paths in this program, it’s in your best interest to see an advisor as soon
as possible. We also recommend that you apply for dual enrollment with Oregon State at the same time.
- For those planning to transfer to Western Oregon University or another four-year institution,
we advise you to choose the Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer with an emphasis in
Exercise and Sport Science.
Please work with your advisor to select your transfer destination.
