Environmental Science

Environmental science combines the study of natural and social sciences to help solve current environmental problems. In addition to your classwork coursework, you’ll also have the opportunity to gain hands-on knowledge in environmental sampling and environmental restoration.

Environmental science students at LBCC take a variety of physical, biological, and social science classes before choosing a specialty to focus on for the upper-division coursework they’ll be doing upon transfer to Oregon State University. Specialties at OSU include alternative energy, aquatic biology, environmental law and policy, environmental education, and more.
