Community Education

At LBCC, we offer a wide variety of community classes to support your growth and interests. Learn to cook, dance, or make art. Complete pre-training for a professional certification, take driver’s ed, or develop your professional skills. Choose from face-to-face as well as remote classes!

Age Policy: you must be 18 years old to take a Community Education class. The only exceptions to this are: if you will turn 18 before the class begins, you are taking a youth and family class, or you are taking a Driver Education and Vehicle Safety class.

Important dates to remember:

  • We are currently accepting registration for fall term
  • Fall term ends on December 13, 2024
  • Winter term schedule of classes available online November 14 (noon)
  • Registration for winter term begins November 18, 2024

  • Winter term begins January 6, 2025

  • Winter term ends March 21, 2025

In-person registration desk at the Benton Center (Corvallis Campus):
  • Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
  • Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm
In-person registration desk at the Lebanon Center:
  • Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 4:00pm

Registration Fees & Payment
All costs associated with Community Education classes are listed in the Schedule of Classes under the class description. Some classes have an additional fee for materials or supplies provided in the class. Other classes may require students to purchase supplies to bring to class. Payment is due at the time of registration. Submitting a registration form without payment does not guarantee your spot in the class.
Refund/Drop Policy

LBCC does not send a bill for Community Education classes. Students are responsible for ensuring their bill is paid in full.

  • Refunds will be given during the refund period, depending on class length.
  • To drop a class, contact our office at 541-917-4840.
  • Full refunds will be issued to all students if LBCC cancels the class.
Drop Deadlines

If you need to drop a Community Education class, please call 541-917-4840 to speak with an enrollment specialist. If you are prompted to leave a voice message, mention that you need to drop a class and we will return your call as soon as possible.

  • Classes four weeks or less: Monday (or first business day) before the first class by 5:00pm
  • Classes 5-11 weeks: Monday (or first business day) of the second week of class by 5:00pm
