Degree & Certificate Options
The Associate of Science degree in Communication is for students who want to transfer to another state university (including Oregon State) with the intention of majoring in Communication.
Students planning to transfer to Oregon State University (or to any other college
without an accredited bachelor's program in journalism) should pursue the Associate
of Science in Journalism and Mass Communications at LBCC. Graduates can transfer to
OSU and major in Digital Communication Arts within the New Media Communications program.
Communication emphasis, Associate of Science
This two-year degree prepares you to transfer to Oregon State University ready to enroll in upper-division coursework. Students should enroll in the Degree Partnership Program and take classes at both LBCC and OSU.
Transfer to Any Oregon University Communication Program
This degree allows you to transfer to a communication program at any Oregon university. Work with your advisor to select the best courses for your transfer destination.
Journalism and Mass Communication emphasis, Associate of Science
