Student Hope Tree

Tuesday, November 12, 2024 - Friday, December 6, 2024

LBCC Foundation Student Hope Tree tag

Make a difference in an LBCC student's life through our Student Hope Tree initiative. In partnership with our STEP and JOBS programs, the LBCC Foundation is connecting our community with students who could use extra support during the holidays.

Visit the Foundation Office (CC-107) to select a tag from our Student Hope Tree, which includes a family's wishes and requested gift card amount. Each tag comes with a special keepsake - a handcrafted ornament made by LBCC Machine Tool students. Most tags support families of two to three people, with gift card requests ranging from $25-$50 per family member. Students have shared wishes for themselves, their family members, and even their pets – making this a truly personal way to support our LBCC community.

Ready to help? Stop by CC-107 today to select your tag and make this holiday season brighter for an LBCC student family. All unwrapped gifts should be returned to the Foundation Office by December 6.

Give Hope Day

Wednesday, May 14, 2025

Give Hope Day is the LBCC Foundation’s annual 24-hour fundraiser dedicated to supporting emergency funds that provide critical financial assistance to students in need. The goal is to raise money to help students overcome financial barriers and stay on track with their education.

The LBCC Foundation's emergency funds help remove financial barriers that could prevent students from continuing their education. Whether a student is unable to afford essential car repairs, cover unexpected medical expenses, or purchase textbooks and supplies, the fund is there to provide immediate support, ensuring students can stay on track toward achieving their academic and career goals.

Leading up to the big day, the LBCC Foundation will host its annual Pancake Roadshow, a fun and impactful event across our four campuses — Albany, Corvallis, Lebanon’s Health Occupation Center, and Lebanon’s Advanced Transportation Technology & Heavy Equipment Centers. The Roadshow not only serves delicious pancakes to raise awareness about student food insecurity but also promotes the importance of Give Hope Day and encourages community participation.

Together, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of Linn-Benton students, giving them the resources and hope they need to overcome life's challenges and succeed in their educational journey.
