It’s one thing to get accepted by a college — quite another to make sure your education is paid for. Many students feel overwhelmed by the uncertainty and complexity of the funding process. But at LBCC, we’re here for you.

Meet with a Financial Aid Advisor

Appointments are available in-person, by phone, or online.

  1. Log in to My LB. Open Watermark.
  2. Click on "Schedule a Meeting."
  3. For "Service" choose "General Financial Aid Questions."
  4. For "Campus" choose "Albany".
  5. For “Office” choose "Financial Aid."
  6. For "Staff," select the name of the coach you prefer or leave blank.
  7. Select how you would like to meet: in-person, phone, or online.
  8. Click "Find a Time."
  9. Select a date and time from the available list.
  10. For "Would you like to share anything else?", provide some information about what you’d like to talk about in your appointment.
  11. After you click "Confirm," you will receive a Google calendar invitation. Please make sure to check your LBCC student email!

There are three basic sources of funds for college: grants, loans, and federal work-study. Each has different eligibility criteria and repayment requirements.
