Preferred Name
LBCC is in the process of allowing students to use a Preferred Name in different systems. Below is a list of current systems where Preferred Name is used and where it will be used next.
Preferred Name can be changed in WebRunner under Personal Information
Current Systems using Preferred Name
Once Preferred Name is updated, it will be visible in Single Sign on within 30 minutes
Preferred Name will be visible in Moodle within minutes
The night Preferred Name is changed, a new email address will be created. It will link with emails sent to the prior address also.
Preferred Name will be used in this system. It will be visible the next day.
Tutortrac that is used in the Learning Center and for Adult Basic Skills will use
the Preferred Name the next day.
The LBCC Honor Roll list that is sent to local newspapers will use Preferred Name.
The list of LBCC graduates that is sent to local newspapers will use Preferred Name.
The system used by faculty to report attendance uses Preferred Name

A new tool that will replace large parts of the current version of WebRunner
Will be in the next version of WebRunner
