About the Library
General Information
The LBCC Library provides resources and services for the instructional, and general
information needs of students, employees, and community members. The library has the
support you need for studying: check out a laptop, borrow a copy of your textbook,
print your paper, or get help learning how to use Moodle, Google Docs, and other software.
Our Resources
The Library has a targeted collection of books, DVDs, periodicals, and textbooks.
We also lend laptops, phone chargers, calculators, hotspots, webcams, and other useful
technology.
Our Services
Student Help Desk employees provide assistance with student computing and technical needs. We provide support for campus technologies (Moodle, Microsoft Office, Google Apps, printing, etc.) and common software applications. Learn more.
Our interlibrary loan service provides LBCC students and employees with access to
virtually any resources not held in the Library’s collection. Learn more.
Our Facilities
Our library has space for everyone! Cram with your classmates in a study room complete with whiteboards and a big shared screen, or settle in at one of our quiet desks among the books. You are welcome to bring your snacks and beverages into the library. We know you need brain fuel!
The main library facility is located in Willamette Hall on the Albany campus. We also
have a branch library facility at LBCC’s Health Occupations Center. Both libraries
have the resources you need for success, including comfortable space for collaborative
work or quiet study and computers with internet access, printing, copying, and scanning.
Our main library even has a private room for quiet reflection, prayer, or lactation.
