Additional Help
LBCC uses this tool for coordinated student support. Through Watermark, you can get the tools you need for success and keep track of the support you have received. Watermark allows for continuity of service and less work for the student.
Watermark sends notifications to your team when it looks like something might be going on (for example, if you miss some classes). Your success team can communicate with you and send you tasks and messages.
Log into Single Sign-On and click on the Watermark tile.
On your phone, you can download the Watermark app to get easy access to your success team and get notifications on information relevant to you.
You can download the app here:
Communications sent through Watermark also come to your LBCC student email, and, if the sender requests it, to your personal email.
Notifications prompt you to take action or congratulate you on a job well done. If you receive a notification regarding an instructor’s concern, it’s time to get in contact with your success team. Reach out to your instructor, your navigator, or your advisor to figure out your next steps and make a plan.
Your instructors may also make referrals to different areas of the college if they think that you can benefit from a resource or service; they could refer you to Academic Coaching (for academic success skills), the Roadrunner Resource Center (for emergency aid and support), or the First Resort (for tools to navigate LBCC), and more. In these cases, a representative from the department you’ve been referred to will reach out to you.
Notifications are meant to support you at important points so you can remain focused on your goals at LBCC. You’re not alone in your academic journey, and your success team is there to understand the issues you’re facing and help you take the steps to succeed in your coursework. Everyone stumbles sometimes in their journey towards their goals, but it’s how you react to it that makes a difference!
