Reporting Concerns at LBCC

LBCC is committed to creating the most supportive environments for teaching, learning, and service to the community. We encourage members of our community to share concerns so we can help offer resources, services, and supports to contribute to these goals. Safety at LBCC and in our communities is everyone’s responsibility. By recognizing and reporting behavior you believe to be a potential concern, you can help our community members get the assistance and services they might need.

Note: These reports are reviewed during business hours. For emergencies, do not complete a form. Contact 911 and Public Safety.

Report accident, injuries, or medical incidents that happen on LBCC property or at LBCC-related activities or events.

Accident Or Injury

Report any concerning non-emergency behavior or activity, which routes to Public Safety. Note: use when no other report is appropriate.

Concerning Activity

Alert the CARE Team to a student who has non-emergency needs (financial, academic, personal, etc.) impacting their ability to navigate LBCC.

Concern For A Student

Report unlawful harassment, discrimination, or retaliation against LBCC students, faculty, and staff members.

Harassment

Report gender-based discrimination, sexual harassment, dating and domestic violence, sexual assault, and other Title IX concerns.

Sexual Misconduct

Report academic dishonesty such as forgery,  cheating, plagiarism, violating copyright or trademark, and copying LBCC software.

Academic Misconduct

Report any non-emergency violations of the Student Rights, Responsibilities, and Conduct Code by students or student organizations.

Student Misconduct

Report a complaint against LBCC, including violations of rights or policies as well as issues with instruction or facilities.

Complaint Against LBCC

Mandatory reporting: LBCC employees have additional responsibilities under state law to report suspected child abuse to the Department of Human Services or law enforcement. This responsibility is in effect 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Reports can be made by contacting the Oregon Child Abuse Hotline at 1-855-503-SAFE (7233).
