Application

 

Gather the following documents

  • Include a photograph or digital scan of the page with your name and photo

  • Use one of the following:
    • TOEFL 500 PBT or 61 IBT
    • IELTS 5.5
    • Duolingo score 95 or higher (no sub-score lower than 75)
    • PTE (Pearson Academic) score 45 or higher
    • INTO OSU Level 5 or 6 completion for INTO OSU students only (proof of completion required for admissions)
    • IGCSE/GCSE English with C or above
    • GTEC 1076-1095
    • SAT 480
    • Language Cert International ESOL exam: B2 Communicator level or above
    • US Standard High School Diploma/GED
    • US College Transcript from the most recent college or university attended. Must have a minimum of 12 quarter or 8 semester credits that includes a college level (100+) Writing class. All grades must be "C" or above. English language courses are not included.
    • Native-speaker of English from these countries

  • Include one of the following:
    • Bank statement with minimum required balance, less than six months old (see International Cost of Attendance for required minimum)
    • Financial guarantee for sponsored students
      • Sponsored students must always have a valid financial guarantee on file with us
      • If required, students must obtain transcripts and enrollment letters for their sponsors
      • If students submit the financial guarantees after tuition is due, students must pay the late fees on their account

  • Include unofficial college transcript from all US colleges or universities you have attended (official transcripts are required upon arrival)

Note: LBCC’s writing and math placement tests must be taken before registering. These tests are not required if the applicant has completed previous US college courses in Writing and Math. An unofficial transcript is required to waive any placement testing.

  • If applicant is under 18 years of age on first day of class, include:
    • An official high school transcript
  • If applicant is transferring from another US institution, include: 
    • Proof of visa (copy of photo page and most recent arrival stamp)
    • Current I-20 (copy of page 1 and 2)
