The SLC is governed by several documents.
- The ASLBCC Constitution outlines the basic form of student government and its policies and may be changed only by a vote of the student body, the Associated Students of Linn-Benton Community College (ASLBCC).
- The SLC bylaws provide more specific information -- job descriptions for student representatives, election rules, and other guidelines for business and policies -- and can be changed at any SLC public meeting.
- In addition to the constitution and bylaws, the SLC and LBCC have agreed to participate in a memorandum of understanding outlining the expectations of each party.
All Student Leadership Council, Council of Clubs, and Event Task Force meetings are open to the public to observe. If you are interested in participating in one of these meetings, please reach out to the chair.
