Student Life and Leadership at LBCC
Connect. Engage. Lead.
The Student Life and Leadership department at LBCC is dedicated to enriching the student experience through dynamic opportunities that promote involvement, leadership development, and community engagement. Whether you're looking to build your leadership skills, join a club, attend events, or volunteer—this is your place to get involved.
Through programs such as the Student Leadership Council (SLC), Council of Clubs, LBChirp student engagement app, Roadrunner Connections, and Volunteer LBCC, we empower students to make a difference both on campus and beyond. We support initiatives that foster inclusion, equity, and personal growth while building connections that last a lifetime.
Student Life and Leadership also plays a key role in shared governance at LBCC. Our student leaders represent the voice of the Associated Students of LBCC (ASLBCC), collect student feedback that helps in college decisions, organize impactful events, and advocate for student needs, including affordability initiatives like textbook access, food security programs, and student employment opportunities.
Whether you're here to lead, support, or explore, Student Life and Leadership is where students become Roadrunner Ready—equipped for success at LBCC and beyond.

- The ASLBCC Constitution outlines the basic form of student government and its policies and may be changed only by a vote of the student body, the Associated Students of Linn-Benton Community College (ASLBCC).
- The SLC bylaws provide more specific information -- job descriptions for student representatives, election rules, and other guidelines for business and policies -- and can be changed at any SLC public meeting.
- In addition to the constitution and bylaws, the SLC and LBCC have agreed to participate in a memorandum of understanding outlining the expectations of each party.
