Welding | LBCC

Welding

Welding and fabrication is a rewarding career for men and women who enjoy challenges and like to work with their hands. Our graduates find employment in positions including production welder, fabricator, pipe welder, and more.

LBCC’s Associate of Applied Sciences degree curriculum includes training with all of the commonly-used welding and cutting processes. This includes Stick (SMAW), TIG, wire-feed welding, oxy-fuel cutting, and plasma arc cutting. You’ll also receive training in blueprint reading, layout, fabrication skills, structural welding, and pipe welding, along with many other welding-related subject areas.

A major bonus of this program is the success that LBCC graduates have in getting jobs. Many local companies hire our graduates each year, including ATI Pacific Cast, Selmet, H3o, Greenberry Industrial, Advanced Mechanical, Integrated Mechanical, West Coast Industrial Systems, Bender Mechanical Services, MPP Piping, and more.
