LBCC Theater Program presents the original play “The Duelist”

The Theater Program at Linn-Benton Community College perform the original play “The Duelist” in the LBCC Russell Tripp Performance Center, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW, Albany.

Students in LBCC’s nationally-recognized theatre program will perform this improvised Commedia dell'Arte play, recreating a popular style of Italian comedy from the 17th century. Although based in the 17th century, the play is filled with contemporary American situations and - of course - love, lies, and mistaken identity.

“The Duelist” is directed by LBCC theater faculty member Tinamarie Ivey.

Performances are Nov. 15, 16, 22 and 23 at 7:30 p.m., with matinees Nov. 16 and 23 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 general admission, $7 for students and seniors. Purchase online at linnbenton.edu/tickets, or one hour prior to performance.
