RELATED TO POLICY SERIES NO: 5045

TITLE: CAMPUS SIGNAGE

PURPOSE
To establish college-wide signage standards built around a wayfinding system to keep information clear, consistent, simple, readily visible, and provided as needed. The plan was developed to address college needs and comply with codes and regulations.

STATEMENT
The signage system begins at main campus entrances with primary campus identification signs. Vehicular wayfinding, parking lot identification, and building signage provides information useful to guide people from one sign location to their destination or to the next sign that provides further guidance.

The signage standards plan includes official exterior and interior design, font, color, and construction specifications for signage at all college facilities. The Institutional College Advancement Office is responsible for setting design protocols for signage that align with the college brand. The Facilities Department maintains the signage maps, building directory, and room/office identification inserts and orders new or replacement signs as needed. The director of college advancement will consult with Facilities staff to administer the standards. The complete signage standards plan is available for review in the Institutional Advancement Office or Facilities Department.
