LBCC works hard to provide a safe and healthy educational environment for our students, employees and the public. A number of faculty and staff are trained to handle emergency situations. The college also is part of a larger coalition of city emergency personnel and local business leaders dedicated to responding in the event of a larger emergency event.
In the event of a situation or condition that poses an imminent threat to individual's health, lives or safety, students and staff are encouraged to immediately call 911, then contact LBCC Public Safety. If there is not an imminent danger, campus Public Safety can assess the situation and take appropriate action.
