    FULLY ADMITTED STUDENTS WHO HAVE NEVER TAKEN A CLASS:

    Step 1: Apply online

    Fill out the Application for Admission and submit it, along with the $30 fee, to the Admissions Office either:

    • In person - Admissions Office, Takena Hall, Albany Campus. $30 fee.
    • Fax to: 541-917-4868. Pay $30 fee by credit card
    • Mail to: LBCC Admissions, 6500 Pacific Blvd. SW, Albany, OR 97321-3755. Pay $30 fee by check or credit card.

    Transferring credits from another college or university? Send official college transcript to LBCC's Admissions Office with a completed LBCC Transfer Credit Evaluation Request form.

    Step 2: Schedule a Placement Exam (CPT): Test Sign-up. To waive test, submit petition form to Admissions Office, along with supporting documents.

    Step 3: Explore Your Financial Aid Options: www.linnbenton.edu/financial-aid, or contact the Financial Aid Office in Takena Hall at 541-917-4850.

    Step 4: For help with documented disabilities, go to www.linnbenton.edu/ds, click on How to Get Started, or contact LBCC Disability office, (Red Cedar Hall 105), or email ODS@linnbenton.edu, or call 541-917-4690, or via Oregon Telecommunications Relay TTD at 1-800-735-2900 or 1-800-735-1232. 

    Step 5: Attend required New Student Registration session. Watch for “Notice of Admission” in your mail with the date and time of your session. Register for classes immediately following your session through WebRunner (how to use WebRunner) or at any LBCC Registration Counter.

    Note: If you are under 18, submit proof of high school or GED completion to register for up to 11 credits during open registration.


    CONTINUING, FULLY ADMITTED STUDENTS:

    Fully admitted students who have taken classes register during priority registration through WebRunner (see Academic Calendar for exact dates). Priority registration is based on number of credits you are currently taking plus credits you previously earned at LBCC. Check your LBCC hours on WebRunner under Registration, Check Your Registration Status, or at the Registration counter in Takena Hall (photo ID required). WebRunner shows your actual registration slot and indicates if you have a 'hold' on your account. Verify your status before registering.


    PART-TIME OR NON-CREDIT STUDENTS:

    If you have taken part-time or non-credit classes at LBCC, register during open registration through WebRunner (see Academic Calendar for exact date).

    Never taken a class at LBCC? Complete a Student Data Form (available LBCC Admissions office), and submit to Admissions before registering. Allow three business days for processing your information, which needs to be in the system before you can register.


    1. Change your schedule online: WebRunner (be sure to click submit), or
    2. Fill out a Schedule Change form and return to any LBCC Registration counter

    Classes must be added before deadlines below. Class length is based on the number of weeks the class is scheduled to meet (a week is defined as 12:01 a.m. Monday to 11:59 p.m. Sunday). When deadlines fall at the end of a week, your registration must be processed by Sunday at 11:59 p.m.

    Deadline to Register/Add Course(s)

    • one-day class: day of class
    • one-week class*: day prior to second class meeting
    • two-week class**: day prior to the first class of the second week
    • three weeks or longer: end of second week of class


    Deadline to register or add open-entry classes: (marked "O" in footnote column of class schedule)

    • three- to nine-week classes: day prior to last week of class
    • 10-plus week classes: end of ninth week of class

    *one-week classes meet more than one day during the same week (Monday-Sunday).
    **two-week classes meet at least once during two different term weeks (Monday through Sunday).

    Classes three weeks or longer meet at least once during each term week of the class.

    Exceptions to the above deadlines: If first day of class is on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, registration/add deadline extended to the following Monday. Registering or adding a class after the class begins requires instructor signature (see deadlines in the table above).

    Requests to add courses after the published Add Deadlines (above) may result in a $25-per-course late add fee. No class will be added after 5 p.m. on Friday of the ninth week of classes. Verifying registration is your responsibility.

    Admissions office: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
    Registration counter: Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

    WebRunner: 24 hours a day with the following exceptions: from 9 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday; unavailable some weekends when closed for system maintenance (a message will indicate when it is accessible).
