Active Directory Network Login Help
LBCC uses Microsoft's "Active Directory" network system. Active Directory is what logs you in to your LBCC workstation and provides access to your files, shared printers, and other network resources. All LBCC workstations are a part of Active Directory. To login to an LBCC computer, or to your Instructor Website, you need to provide your network username and password.
Your username is not case-sensitive. It is typically the first six letters of your last name and your first initial. For instance, if your name is John Davis, your username is davisj.
Your password is case-sensitive, and must be at least 8 characters or more in length. It expires every 90 days.
Begin by turning on the computer, then give it a moment to power up.
To login on a workstation using Windows10, wiggle the mouse. Type your username and password, then press the Enter key (or click the arrow). If someone else's username is already there, select "Other User".
To login on a workstation using Windows 7 (shown below), press the CTRL+Alt+Delete keys simultaneously. Type your username and password, then press the Enter key (or click the arrow).
