The LBCC Network and Systems Administration program is designed for students interested in a career as a network technician. The program provides foundational skills, which provide a firm basis for lifelong, on-the-job learning and professional growth.
The program offers a two-year Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Network and Systems Administration, as well as a short-term certificate in Basic Networking. The certificate can be completed in 4 terms - Fall, Winter, Spring, and the following Fall - by completing four courses of 4 credits each. This program is designed to help students develop the skills needed to administer and manage computer networks.
Students will have the opportunity to get some valuable cooperative work experience in the information technology field, arranged with one of a number of local public and private organizations.
