“The Actor’s Nightmare” is a short comic play by Christopher Durang (Beyond Therapy), about an accountant who is mistaken for an actor’s understudy and finds himself forced to perform in a play – even though he doesn’t know any of the lines! Proceeds from this student-directed production will support the theater club’s travels to a major academic conference in February.

High School Improv Smackdown: South vs. West! December 1, 7:30pm.
It's the 2nd annual "comedy brawl in Takena Hall" as improv troupes from South Albany HS and West Albany HS exchange gut-busters and knee-slappers in the High School Improv Smackdown! Based on the popular Smackdowns at the Majestic Theatre, this event is a showcase of short-form improv comedy (think "Whose Line Is It Anyway?") featuring top-shelf student performers. Tickets are only $5!
