Free computer use for Linn-Benton Community College students
LBCC provides computers and software in support of instructional programs for general use in the Albany campus Library (Willamette Hall, room WH137). Laptops are also availble for checkout. See below for information about computer labs at other LBCC locations. The college also provides special purpose computer labs for such programs as electronics, drafting, and graphic design in other campus areas. Computer use at LBCC must conform to the Computer Use Guidelines

In general, all computers run the Microsoft Windows 10 operating system. Microsoft Office Professional 2016 is also installed. Individual programs such as Graphic Design include support for MacIntosh users. For software descriptions, staff and hours of operation, see below or select a location from the menu to the left.

The Learning & Career Center (Willamette Hall: WH226, above the Library) is open a variety of hours to meet the majority of student needs. Friendly service is provided by trained staff. Software programs available on a limited number of computers includes everything from simple word-processing and spreadsheets to graphics, page layout, and programming languages. Software reference books and tutorials are available to guide individuals in learning new programs. 

Computer labs are also available at the Benton, Lebanon, and Sweet Home Centers, as indicated below.
